Born in Russia in 1960.

Studied at the Leningrad (now St.Petersburg) State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, then worked at the artists’ community at Furmany Lane in Moscow along with many famous perestroika generation artists.

Currently lives and works in New York City
