 We are happy to announce our forthcoming participation in the prestigious art fair Volta New York from March 4th. to March 7th., 2010, with the Swiss project of Vladimir Arkhipov "Things Strike Back". The project will be further elaborated on in the upcoming book of the gallery which will include the articles by internationally renown art critic and curator Viktor Misiano and a leading Russian philosopher Valery Podoroga.

Performance at the Devil's Bridge

The gallery staged the performance on the Devil's Bridge with the participation of André Reithebuch, Mister Switzerland 2009, and Russian dancer Maria Terpugova. Renown Swiss film director Thomas Gerber is making a film on the basis of the performance, the premier of which will take place at the gallery on September 21st. - the date when the official visit by Russian President Medvedev to Switzerland will begin.

 On May 5, 2009, at 20:00 the legendary Cabaret Voltaire, Zürich, has taken place the performance by Group "A-A-A?!!" aka Valera & Natasha Cherkashin. The artists has try to figure out what we, humans, will look like in, say, 200 years time. Valera and Natasha have wished to dress bullet-proof waistcoats and helmets for a reason unknown to us, the gallerists. They might be anticipating the wrath of the public or maybe just want to pay a tribute to the violent history of Cabaret Voltaire performances that took place in this particular place nearly one hundred years ago.

Its sleek modern architecture and new concept attracted a lot of media attention and it is already considered to be one of the most stylish hotels in town. The hotel commissioned our gallery to decorate its extensive business and conference facilities with the photographs of European cities.

The 53rd. International Art Exhibition opens on 7th. June 2009 and is titled ‘Making Worlds’. Swedish curator Daniel Birnbaum heads the 2009 edition.

His photographs have the look and feel of old master prints, which is perfectly suited to his subject matter.
